Mile 1465.2 – Schaghticoke Shelter to Mile 1475.4 – Stewart Hollow Brook Shelter
We walked into town today to get groceries and some real food for lunch. It was a bit jarring to encounter civilization!

Rocket loves to watch the wildlife we find along the way. A lot of dear, frogs and, of course, bugs. Two snakes so far.
We’re still learning how much we can accomplish in a day, and this town stop caused us to hike much later in the day than we’d like but we had our chores done before dark and fell asleep pretty quickly after a long day.
