Mile 1607 – Congdon Shelter To Mile 1622 – Goddard Shelter
I’m writing this post a day late because we were so tired after hiking that we both just went right to sleep after dinner. I asked Rocket what we did yesterday and her response was “14.7.” I laughed, but that’s basically it. It was long (for us) and also our most elevation gain/loss in one day by a good margin.
Because we anticipated a hard day, we formed a plan in the morning for how we would schedule our hiking. Then, we were just laser-focused on the plan. Most days, we spend a lot of time enjoying the journey, but this was all about achieving a goal.
