Mile 1892 – Rattle River Hostel To Mile 1904 – Gentian Pond Shelter
The weather forecast is improving and the storms are now predicted to subside by early afternoon, so we are planning to head out around lunch time. This should allow us to stay relatively dry and be only slightly behind schedule.
The morning was filled with a delicious pancake breakfast and more board games. We took our time getting packed up and were back on the trail in dry weather by noon.

Clue
As we near the end of New Hampshire and the Whites, we are noticing that the trail is again changing to become more rugged. There is excitement in the air as Maine is just around the corner.
