Day 65. White Cap

Mile 2112 – Carl Newhall Shelter To Mile 2128 – Stealth

Today was our last big climb before Katahdin. We have been able to catch glimpses of it this week, but today we could clearly make it out in the distance. It seems strange that we will be there in just a few days.

Katahdin is getting bigger in the distance

Around sunset we started looking for a place to camp since we were not planning to stop at a shelter. Rocket found us a great spot near a pond with a sandy beach.
