Day 71. Zero in Millinocket

Mile 2191 – Millinocket

Brenda drove into town this morning and we decided to spend another day here. The down time was much needed and it gave us a chance to say goodbye to some friends before leaving town.

Last night Rocket and I had a team meeting over dinner to discuss our hike. Although we’ve been planning to continue, we made it official: we’re going to jump back to where we started in New York and continue southbound. There are still some logistics to work out, but we are excited to attempt to complete the trail by December!
