Mile 766 – Canopus Lake Beach To Mile 784 – Hemlock Springs
We were up early to take advantage of the good weather that was forecast for today. We camped last night at a state park with a beach area so we ate breakfast near the water. It was a great way to start the day.

I counted ten road crossings today! We’re used to going days without any. Another reminder that we are not in Maine anymore.
One advantage of being in a densely populated area is relatively easy access to supplies. Today the trail led us right by a small store with a nice deli so we stopped in for lunch and made sure to get enough for dinner also.
