Day 110. Ice Storm

Mile 1248 – Luray

There was an impressive variety of winter precipitation today and continuing into tonight. Rocket had fun playing in the sleet/snow for a while, but we mostly stayed indoors.

Although it is frustrating not to be making progress today, we are very glad we decided to wait out this storm. It is pretty bad here, and I’m sure much worse at higher elevations. Rocket found a 3-d puzzle at the hostel which kept us busy most of the day.
