Day 114. Wildcat Ridge

Mile 1294 – Pinefield Hut To Mile 1314 – Wildcat Ridge

The sections of blocked trail are still a struggle, but we found a lot to enjoy in the park today. We started around dawn this morning and arrived at our planned stopping location just as it was getting dark. Despite the long, difficult day, we really had a great time taking in the views of the Shenandoah Valley on a beautiful day. Skyline Drive is still closed so it was amazingly peaceful.
