Mile 1742 – TN 91 To Mile 1763 – Hampton, TN
A big winner storm is on the way and the snow is supposed to begin this evening. We rushed all day to try to get in as many miles as possible before it started. Also, we were expecting to see Brenda tomorrow, but she decided to come a day early to beat the storm.
Along with Ox and Torch, we hiked in to Boots Off Hostel which is right on the trail and they drove us into town where we picked up enough food to wait out the storm if needed. If the snow is as bad as predicted we could be stuck for a couple of days.
