Mile 525 – Kearny To Mile 547 – Stealth
The trail will treat us to a few days of desert walking here in the southern section. This will be a big change of pace from the continuous mountains we’ve encountered so far. The flat won’t last long, however.
We’ll remain in the Sonoran Desert until the end, but we’re not done with climbing yet… The Sky Islands are coming.
There is still over 40,000 feet of ascent remaining, which is more than half of the total ascent so far.
