Day 68. Civilization

Mile 2164 – Rainbow Spring To Mile 2179 – Abol Pines

We walked out of the 100 mile wilderness and made a beeline for the one store between there and the entrance to Baxter. It is just a tiny shop associated with a campground there, so it mainly had rv supplies and fishing tackle, but we were anxious for any food other than what we had been carrying for the last six days.

We found some good options for lunch, dinner, and breakfast tomorrow and then set up our tent by the river. It was only early afternoon, but we are not going into town until tomorrow, so we appreciated a little down time.
