Mile 1194 – Stealth To Mile 1215 – Jim and Molly Denton Memorial Shelter
We’ve been out of the mountains for quite a while now, but we can tell that is quickly changing. The climbs are getting steeper and our elevation is slowly rising. We’re entering the Shenandoahs!
We have lots of extended family in the Shenandoah Valley and I spent a lot of time near here as a kid. Everything here has a familiar, comforting feel. Even the shape of the ridges in the distance and the color of the rocks bring back memories that I’m eager to share with Rocket.
