Mile 1984 – Newfound Gap To Mile 1968 – Tri-Corner Knob Shelter
We are tackling the northern part of the park heading northbound for two days. Then we’ll drive back down south to pick up where we left off before Christmas.
The weather continues to warm up. It was logistically somewhat complicated to skip this section last week an return today, but we feel that it was the right decision after talking to some other hikers that left Standing Bear at the same time we did and hiked through the storm.
