Off trail
After much celebrating last night we said goodbye to Ox and Torch and went back to the cabin with Slippery Otter. Today Brenda drove us back to Virginia where we will start the section that we missed due to the ice storm back in November. More on that tomorrow…
Thank you to Slippery Otter and his dad for traveling all the way to Georgia to be with us for Springer and even hiking the last day with us! Also thanks to Brenda for supporting us along the way, especially with the crazy logistics around the Smokies. And thanks to everyone who commented on the blog and sent encouraging notes along the way. Your support means more than you know.
These are memories you’ll never forget.
