Mile 0 – State Line Campground To Mile 11 – Winter Rd

The shuttle from Page took about two hours over partially washed-out dirt roads. We were on the trail shortly after that. We both agreed the feeling of starting out alone with so many unknowns ahead brought up numerous memories of a few years ago. However we didn’t dwell on that for long as we were quickly distracted by the amazing landscape. Rocket remarked as we walked alone in silence: “there’s just so much going on here!”

The plan is a half-day of hiking today and then slowly ramping up over the next week.
Hey Hunger and Rocket!!
So exciting to see you back on trail. Thanks for posting and allowing us to follow. Enjoy the nature, adventure, trials and joy. Sending lots of love to both of you crazy, awesome humans. 💕torch.
