Mile 4.7 (passage 33) Flagstaff To Mile 235 – Stealth
It is bittersweet to leave the comforts of town for the discomforts of the trail. We’re excited to be moving forward, but knowing we will miss the comfy hotel room and abundant food. Our next water is in 33 miles so we calculated how far we’d need to go today to make that work, then stayed in town as long as possible while leaving enough daylight for the required distance. The sun was setting and the rain starting as we climbed in our tents for the night.

Potato Chips should be required for hikers and those who are brave of heart. Go Rocket.

33 miles 😳 that’s quite the water carry!!
I completely agree with Rocket. Chips are an essential part of resupply.
