Day 100. Fayetteville

Mile 1105 – Quarry Gap Shelter To Mile 1107 – Fayetteville

With the colder temperatures that we have been experiencing we are becoming more selective about when we hike in rain. Rain was forecast for the whole day today and thunderstorms are predicted for tomorrow morning.

Because of this we changed our plans and decided to go into town today instead of later in the week. Fortunately we were at an amazingly nice shelter last night so we waited there in the morning for the rain to subside a little and then hiked into Fayetteville where we will stay at a hostel for the night. It is so nice to be able to avoid the storms!
